Why It Matters

Hard Surfaces Need More Than a Rinse

Concrete, brick, and paver surfaces are porous - which means dirt, oil, algae, and mildew don't just sit on top, they work their way in. A garden hose won't touch it. Over time, the buildup makes surfaces look neglected, feel slippery underfoot, and breaks down the material itself.

Professional pressure washing uses the right PSI for each surface type to blast embedded grime out of the pores - not just off the top. The difference is immediate and dramatic. Surfaces that looked permanently stained come back looking clean, bright, and years younger.

Whether it's a driveway caked with oil and winter salt, a patio covered in green algae, or a commercial entryway that's seen too much foot traffic, North Peak has the equipment and experience to get it done right.

Driveways & Garage Aprons

Oil stains, tire marks, winter salt residue, and embedded dirt - we remove it all from concrete and asphalt driveways, including the apron where it meets the street.

Steps & Retaining Walls

Entry steps, stoops, and retaining walls cleaned to match the rest of your property. No awkward transitions between clean and dirty surfaces.

Sidewalks & Walkways

Front walks, side paths, and public-facing sidewalks cleaned to a uniform, slip-resistant finish. Great for curb appeal and safety.

Commercial Lots & Entryways

Parking lots, drive lanes, loading areas, dumpster pads, and entryways for businesses and commercial properties. Recurring plans available.

Patios & Outdoor Living Areas

Concrete, pavers, brick, and stone patios accumulate algae and grime fast - especially in shaded areas. We restore them before entertaining season.

Right PSI for Every Surface

We adjust pressure based on material - concrete gets treated differently than pavers or brick. No damage, no cracking, just clean.

Awesome service and very "clean" job! Carter got us scheduled immediately for the next day, and Beau did such a good job that the patio looks better than when we moved in! (Along with the house and windows). - Lady Spicer

 Common Questions About Pressure Washing

What surfaces can you pressure wash?

We pressure wash concrete driveways, asphalt, brick, pavers, natural stone, entry steps, retaining walls, patios, sidewalks, and commercial hard surfaces. We do not pressure wash home siding - for that, we use our low-pressure soft wash service to avoid damage.

Can pressure washing remove oil stains from my driveway?

Yes, in most cases. Fresh oil stains respond well to pressure washing. Older, deeply set stains may lighten significantly but may not come out 100% depending on how long they've been there. We can give you an honest assessment when we quote the job.

Will pressure washing damage my concrete or pavers?

Not when done correctly. We use the appropriate PSI and nozzle type for each surface material. High pressure on the wrong surface can cause etching or cracking - which is why experience and the right equipment matter. We adjust our approach for every job.

Do I need to be home?

Not for exterior hard surfaces. As long as we have access to the area and an outdoor water spigot, we can complete the job without anyone home. We'll confirm details when we schedule.

How long does pressure washing take?

A standard residential driveway and walkway takes 1-2 hours. Larger jobs - full patios, commercial lots, or multiple surface areas - may take longer. We'll give you an estimate when we quote.

How often should I have my driveway or patio pressure washed?

Every 1-2 years is typical for most Twin Cities homes. Driveways with oil stains, shaded patios that stay damp, or commercial properties with heavy foot traffic may benefit from annual cleaning.

Do you offer recurring service for commercial properties?

Yes. We can set up a regular schedule - monthly, quarterly, or seasonally - to keep your property consistently clean. Reach out to discuss a plan that fits your needs and budget.
